LeRoy Evening Book Club
“When All Is Said” by Anne Griffin is a poignant novel about a man who honors people in his life and discovers things about himself.
Maurice, an 84 year old Irishman, sits at a bar and over this evening he will make five toasts to five people who meant the most to him. Pull up a stool and listen to the toasts and learn of Maurice’s life, joy, regrets, a hidden secret tragedy kept hidden and a love that never found a voice.
Could you pick five people to sum up your life and could you raise a glass and say a toast to them?
Members were ever so grateful when the LeRoy Public Library opened up, no matter what the new rules were. Some were out of books and others were reading anything they could get their hands on. Please call the library, 324-5641, and request the rules to follow to check out books.
