LeRoy Evening Book club

    “A Small Town A Novel” by Thomas Perry is a crime mystery about Weldonville, a small rural town with a Federal Prison on the outskirts.  Twelve prisoners take over the prison, free all the inmates and take the guards ID, guns, keys and cars and go to their homes.  Horrible crimes are committed, murder, rape, fires and supplies taken.  After 2 years the FBI has not found the twelve escapes so Leah Hawkins, a female “Jack Reacher”  does a systemic hunt and reveals her ruthlessness and humanity.  Follow Leah on a quest of vengeance.    Need ideas for the Holidays?  LeRoy Public Library has cookbooks, decorating and craft books to spark an idea.​
